Maccabi Nederland, de grootste Joodse sportvereniging in Nederland, heeft een team samengesteld om mensen die hulp nodig hebben als gevolg van de coronavirus pandemie te helpen. Onderdeel van het team is ook een groep medische professionals.
In het bijzonder (maar niet uitsluitend) richt Maccabi zich om de risicogroepen te ondersteunen in de Joodse gemeenschap die het zwaarst getroffen (kunnen) worden: ouderen, alleenstaanden, mensen die als ze niet mogen/kunnen werken financieel niet rondkomen.
Wij verzoeken u de inhoud van dit bericht te delen met (eventuele) hulpbehoevenden en dit bericht te verspreiden via social media.

In deze onzekere tijden willen wij jullie laten weten dat jullie er niet alleen voor staan.

โข Het doen van boodschappen (ook bij apotheken) voor hulpbehoevenden (ouderen, alleenstaanden, zieken, etc.)
โข Het beantwoorden van vragen/bieden van hulp in de breedste zin des woords
โข Maak je je zorgen over een bepaalde situatie? Neem contact op met Maccabi en we zullen ons best doen om de juiste professional voor je te vinden. Vragen om medisch advies zullen we proberen door te leiden; wij hebben hiervoor een Maccabi medisch team op de achtergrond
Wij zijn ons bewust van en denken voornamelijk aan de mensen in risicogroepen, mensen met kinderen die thuis zitten, mensen die als ze niet mogen/kunnen werken financieel niet rondkomen etc.

In these uncertain times we want to let you know that you are not alone out there.
Maccabi NL is here for you via email (๐๐ฃ๐๐ค@๐ข๐๐๐๐๐๐.๐ฃ๐ก) and social media for but not limited to:
- Going shopping (groceries, pharmacy, etc.) for these people who need help (elderly people, single parents, sick people, etc.)
- Answering any questions/offering help in the most broad sense of the word
- Are you concerned about a particular issue? Contact Maccabi and we will do our best to find the expert for you. Questions about medical advice we will forward appropriately: we have a Maccabi medical team ready in the background
We are very aware of and are thinking of those people in the high risk groups, people who are at home with children who cannot go to school, people who if they are not allowed or are able to work will be in financial trouble, etc.
Now is the time to help each other, to support each other, in any capacity.
